The Big Picture — Without the Surprises
A full landscape renovation transforms your entire yard — and your home’s curb appeal, resale value, and daily enjoyment. But it’s also a construction project. Knowing what to expect helps you plan around the disruption and feel confident every step of the way. Here's what our clients experience when we take a yard from bare or broken… to beautiful.
Before we touch a shovel, we:
Walk the entire property and assess layout
Finalize design for patios, beds, turf, drainage, and any features
Review plant list, materials, and any phased work
Set clear expectations for budget and timeline
Confirm access points and staging areas for materials and equipment
Most projects begin within 1–4 weeks of deposit, depending on season and scope.
This is the noisiest and dirtiest part — but also the most important.
Includes:
Removal of sod, rock, debris, or outdated features
Grading for proper water flow and elevation
Compaction and prep for patios, walls, and sod
Utility marking and layout flagging
Duration: 1–5 days depending on lot size and machine access
This is when the transformation really starts to take shape.
Includes:
Paver or concrete patio installation
Retaining walls, fire pits, or outdoor kitchens
Pergolas, lighting, and vertical features
Drainage systems, metal edging, and underground prep
We phase this work carefully so grading, irrigation, and finishes are never compromised.
With the structure in place, we bring in greenery and color.
Includes:
Sod or artificial turf installation
Mulch, decorative rock, and planting beds
Tree and shrub planting
Drip irrigation, sprinklers, and controller tuning

Pro tip: We always walk through the irrigation system with clients to ensure every zone works correctly.
We don’t leave until everything is done right.
